The durability of pastry and baked goods can vary depending on the specific type of product and how it is stored. Generally, most pastries and baked goods can last for 2-3 days at room temperature if stored in an airtight container. If refrigerated, they can last for 5-7 days. Some items, like bread, can be frozen and stored for up to 3 months. It's important to check for any signs of spoilage, such as mold or off odors, before consuming. **

Baked goods from the bakery are typically best consumed within 2-3 days of purchase for optimal freshness and taste. Items like bread and pastries can start to become stale or dry out after this time period. To extend the shelf life of baked goods, they can be stored in airtight containers or wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and kept at room temperature or in the refrigerator. **

It is difficult to determine if the goods security system is faulty without more information. Factors such as the frequency of false alarms, incidents of theft, and overall effectiveness of the system would need to be evaluated. Conducting a thorough assessment and possibly seeking input from security professionals would be necessary to determine if the system is faulty. **

While it is possible to throw stolen goods over an electronic goods security system, it is not a foolproof method of avoiding detection. Many security systems are equipped with sensors that can detect when an item is thrown over or passed through the system without being properly scanned. Additionally, security personnel may be monitoring the area and can respond to any suspicious activity. Thieves may also risk damaging the stolen goods by throwing them over the security system. Therefore, while it may be attempted, it is not a reliable method for avoiding detection. **
